Your group will be creating an electronic greeting card (E-Card)!
Due to be presented to the class and stored in the shared projects folder by Tuesday, February 20! Please save the project using the last name of the teacher who inspired it. Please notice if other groups have named their project the same name, add a number to the end of it.
You will use Power Point to create this card (basically a three slide show). Here is a template example of a card I created. Please note that it does not follow all of the following guidelines, but it shows a final product idea.
Your first goal is to determine who this card will go to. You must decide on a teacher to which this card will be dedicated. The teacher and his/her subject area is the focus of the card.
The card must have the following elements:
Shakespearean Sonnet on the inside complete with title and all required rules followed
Front cover with a clever saying regarding the theme of the card
At least one graphic on each page (slide)
Name of "company" (group) with members' names listed on the back page of the card
Transitions between slides
Music and/or animations are optional and will receive bonus points
Sonnet Rules:
14 lines
10 syllables per line
abab cdcd efef gg -Rhyme Scheme
Subject matter includes three quatrain argument/ couplet conclusion OR three quatrain illustration/ couplet comment
MUST BE APPROPRIATE AS THESE CARDS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE TEACHER WHO INSPIRED IT!
Here are a few sites to help with graphics and sample E-Card sites for inspiration. Good Luck! 123 Greetings Animated GIF site
